There’s a big difference between investing in healthcare
and investing in access to the right care.
Contigo Health Clinical Advantage™
Despite everyone’s best intentions, there’s a lot of waste and inconsistency in healthcare today.1 In fact, 30 percent of the medical procedures currently performed in the U.S. are unnecessary or inappropriate, and treatments for the same condition can vary as much as 50 percent from place to place.2 This can drive up healthcare costs and impact patient outcomes3, which may lead to reduced employee morale and productivity.
That's where the Contigo Health Clinical AdvantageTM product comes in.
- Help make healthcare work for all
- Help improve your benefit performance
- Help increase associate productivity
- Promote a healthier workplace
The Contigo Health Clinical AdvantageTM product empowers employers to partner with the clinically-led Contigo HealthTM Network to provide its associates access to clinicians who have tools to deliver guideline-driven, patient-appropriate care.
How we do it?
Contigo HealthTM Intelligent Clinical Workflows are designed to provide clinicians in the Contigo HealthTM Network with real-time clinical information to help them achieve their goal of delivering guideline-driven, patient-appropriate care. No more and no less than what the patient needs.
The Contigo HealthTM Intelligent Clinical Workflows also provide clinicians with visibility into employers’ existing ancillary benefits during the patient encounter, giving them access to additional resources that can lead to better outcomes.
The Contigo Health Clinical AdvantageTM product will provide:
Access to health system partners who have the tools to deliver guideline-driven, patient-appropriate care. By deploying Contigo Health™ Intelligent Clinical Workflows with health systems in existing networks, associates gain access to clinicians using just-in-time-information to support their clinical decision making, which can help to lower unwarranted care variation and lead to improved outcomes.
Health and wellness programs integration that puts employers’ existing health and wellness programs in front of qualified associates when it’s most likely to make an impact—during the medical appointment. This helps to achieve improved patient wellbeing, more effective treatment plans and increased program engagement.
A clinical variation assessment that analyzes where care variation is occurring by condition and geographic region. The Contigo Health Clinical Advantage™ product is configured based on this analysis. This can be performed by Contigo Health or in conjunction with the employer’s data partner.
Ongoing measurement that shows engagement related to clinical and ancillary benefit actions within the Contigo Health™ Intelligent Clinical Workflows and where improvements can be made.
